Lecturer in Communications

Molepolole College of Education in Botswana: 2010 to date

My duties include teaching and facilitating to pre-service student teachers (on the use of information communication technologies in academic and professional contexts).

Researcher new media technology, education and pedagogy

  • I had the honor to have my thesis model piloted in one of the Subjects I took Media Writing: Rhetoric and Practice.
  • The thesis proposed the use of Facebook to extend learners’ engagement with educational content beyond formal learning environments. This is a component in advocating development of a participatory curriculum.


English language teacher

Shashe River School (2003-2009)

  • I introduced Language games (Scrabble and word puzzles) as an initiative to improve performance in English language among learners
  • Coordinated the Scrabble Club and the Social Club in the Department of English,

Tashatha Junior Secondary School (2001-2002)

National Examiner: English Language in the Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE)
